Designed for rugged, off-road mining environments, the articulated dump truck represents one of the most versatile hauling components in any mining fleet.

Now, with mining automation technology, ADT operators can experience dramatic improvements in mine site safety and load haulage productivity.


How it works

NAV is a system of robotic components that installs easily into any ADT, converting it from manual to robotic control. Since most modern ADTs are controlled by-wire, Nav leverages the ADT's existing CAN Bus system to direct vehicle functions. This way, Nav is able to control the transmission, steering, acceleration, and braking, and monitor real-time vehicle health indicators.

In some ADTs, steering is still a mechanical function. In this case, an electro-mechanical steering actuator is installed to perform steering maneuvers.

The Haulage A.I.

The Haulage A.I. leverages advanced multi-vehicle command and control software to set up and manage a coordinated system of haul trucks and excavators. The Haulage A.I. keeps all trucks consistently tasked, queues waiting vehicles, and regulates the haul cycle in the most efficient way possible.


As each vehicle completes a task, it receives a new command from the Haulage A.I., maintaining an efficient, automated haulage system.
